James Balentine

Owner and Service Manager, James Balentine, got his first job in the cycling industry at the age of 12. For the last three decades he’s helped open, manage, and oversee operations at renowned shops throughout Texas. In 2004, James started as a team mechanic for the US National Triathlon team, having now worked over 25 World Championships. In 2013, James became a US Paralympic Triathlon Mechanic, and has supported the team at both the Rio and Tokyo Paralympics.

James began racing MTB’s and BMX in the early 90’s. By the end of that decade he was the winner of 12 Nationals, riding as a pro from 1999-2005, when his career was cut short due to injury. He still races BMX regularly at an amateur level, as well as jumping into the occasional MTB or CX race.

Tom Sullivan

While Tom has spent the last two decades in the Austin building industry, he’s always maintained a love of cycling.

A seasoned rider—and all-around great human—with an eye for detail that’s hard to find, Tom’s current on-bike interests revolve around gravel and bike packing adventures.

Carolyn Henein

When asked what she rides, Carolyn says road bikes. When asked what else she likes, Carolyn says rock climbing, chemistry, birding, and fermenting things that (maybe) shouldn’t be fermented. We’re fans.
